Car sharing is exactly that - the sharing of vehicles. You can reserve a car and pay by the half hour. The car share takes care of the rest: car payments, fuel, insurance, maintenance and repairs. JOIN as a MEMBER or a DRIVER!
FULLY CHARGED MEMBER A lifetime, redeemable membership share costs $500. E-transfer your $500 membership fee plus a $31.50 registration fee to membership@ykcarshare.com and send us your driver's license number & expiry date and email address. You can have up to three drivers on your account. Driving rate is $10/hour.
CHARGING UP DRIVER Can’t spare $500 at the moment, join as a Charging Up Driver. As a Charging Up Driver you pay a monthly subscription of $20/month that goes towards your full membership. After 25 months you become a full member with voting rights. E-transfer your registration fee of $31.50 to membership@ykcarshare.com and send us your driver’s license number & expiry date and email address. Casual Member driving rate is $12/hour.
UNPLUGGED DRIVER Only planning to use the car once in awhile or when in town. Join as a no commitment driver. E-transfer your registration fee of $31.50 to membership@ykcarshare.com along with your driver's license number and expiry date. Driver only driving rate is $15/hour.
FULLY CHARGED CORPORATE MEMBER - A lifetime, redeemable membership share costs $500 and you can have unlimited drivers. The business will receive a monthly invoice broken down by driver. Additional drivers will not have voting rights. To add a driver to your account, send us the driver’s name, driver’s license number & expiry date, and an email address along with a $31.50 registration fee to membership@ykcarshare.com. Corporate members driving rate is $12/hour.
UNPLUGGED CORPORATE DRIVERS- Join your group as unplugged drivers. Email bookings@ykcarshare.com and we will set you up. Driving rate is $15/hour.

“Bolty” is a 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV with a 420km range in the summer and 200km in the winter. Available for hourly rentals.
“Sparky” is a 2016 Chevy Spark EV with a 100km range in the summer and 50km in the winter(available for hourly and daily rentals).
